The World Health Organisation has asked Britain to stop poaching doctors & nurses from the world's poorest nations according to the Independent. The WHO in its latest report claimed that more than a quarter of doctors in the U.K. have been imported, leaving millions of people in the poorest countries without access to health care.

In a report last year by Save The Children and Medact, it was reported that Britain had saved £65 million in training costs for doctors and £38 million for nurses it had taken from Ghana alone since 1999. The Government have been so thoughtless and efficient in recruiting overseas doctors and nurses that there is a now a major shortage of medical posts resulting in thousands of doctors facing unemployment in the U.K.

To make matters worse for overseas doctors, the Health Secretary announced the new work permit regulations this month, casting a drift those doctors who are surplus to requirements. The Government's lack of ethics and forward planning has now rewarded those who came under erroneous advertising with a brick wall that they can not climb, whilst lightening their wallets in the process.
